Title Medical Records Clerk Location Levittown, NY Hempstead Turnpike Shift Type Full Time Hours 9:00 AM 5:30 PM Job Summary Express Exams is seeking a dependable, detail orientated, self-starter to assist in the medical records department. Must be computer proficient, have excellent written and communication skills. Must also be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment. The Medical Records Clerk assists the supervisor of the department with handling confidential medical records before sending them off to physicians for independent medical examinations. This position organizes and sorts medical records. Education and/or Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Some College Preferred. Basic knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Typing with a minimum of 35 WPM is required. Medical Records experience and knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
