Job Description

This supply chain planning intern is expected to support the supply chain team, focusing on Global Demand Planning and SIOP activities. This person will be given an opportunity to learn from the team, gain supply chain acumen, and provide meaningful contributions to the team by assisting in the development and execution of FG planning strategies, as well as assisting with data analysis and management.

This individual will support efforts on product lifecycle management, part maintenance, demand analysis, inventory management, and root cause and corrective action.

Job Duties

Collaborate with key stakeholders and participate in planning meetings

Identify forecast variances and review historical data to track demand trends for SIOP discussions

Track key performance indicators and contribute to decision making to balance requirements of sales and operations

Maintain key supply chain master data for improved SCM execution

Support continuous improvement initiatives for planning and inventory management

Assist in reporting, data analysis, and data management for supply chain team

Create/ update process documentation and presentation slides

Job Requirements

Education*:

Bachelors degree in business or supply chain required

Experience*:

Exposure to demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management concepts

Skills:

Strong Analytical Skills

Basic statistical analysis and data manipulation skills

Ability to review and process large amounts of data

High level of attention to detail

Strong Computer Skills : All Microsoft Applications

Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.):

Hybrid schedule available; Two days a week in office
