Estvold Oilfield Services is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team in Minot. The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for managing and tracking a company's accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate records. This role involves issuing invoices, receiving payments, posting receipts, and reconciling accounts. They also play a key role in collections, addressing payment discrepancies, and ensuring financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoicing and Billing: Generating and sending invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Payment Processing: Receiving and posting customer payments, verifying and reconciling transactions.

Collections: Following up on overdue invoices, contacting customers to resolve payment issues, and managing collection efforts.

Account Maintenance: Updating customer accounts, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling accounts.

Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of invoices, payments, and transactions.

Discrepancy Resolution: Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies, working with other departments to address issues.

Financial Reporting: Assisting in preparing financial reports and providing data to other departments.

Communication:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with customers and resolving payment issues

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, some accounting courses or vocational training is often preferred.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.

Experience: Experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting software is preferred

Schedule:Full time M-F 8-5pm

Physical Requirements:Position requires sitting at a desk/computer for prolonged periods of time.
