Position Summary

The Urgent Care Administrative Assistant provides remote administrative and patient-support services to assist with the efficient operation of the urgent care practice. This position serves as an important point of contact for patients, employees, providers, and clinic staff and is responsible for managing telephone calls, email communications, appointment scheduling, patient portal communications, diagnostic imaging links, and other administrative requests.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The individual must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to appropriately identify and route clinical, billing, occupational health, and administrative inquiries.

Essential Responsibilities

::: {role="presentation"} Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner and appropriately route calls to the correct department, team member, or clinic location. :::

::: {role="presentation"} Maintain accuracy when entering appointment information into the electronic medical record (EMR) or scheduling system. :::
