Duties/Responsibilities:

Correctional work involving probation-style supervision and monitoring of non-violent felony offenders who have been released from incarceration and assigned to supervision through the Day Reporting Center or Evidence-Based Programming for alcohol and drug treatments.

Provide direct supervision of assigned clients through home and office visits and establish needed supportive services.

Communicate with local Recovery Courts, judges, District Attorneys, Public Defenders, and other judicial staff.

Provide testimony in court, assist with electronic monitoring, collections of fees, and submitting monthly reports.

Locate and establish professional relationships with local resource agencies.

Maintain the documentation necessary to comply with ETHRA and Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) program policies, procedures, and standards.

Conduct assessments determining felony offenders' needs for successful reintegration.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited university or college with Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social/Behavioral Sciences, or closely related field; or

A minimum of 4 years working experience, including law enforcement experience.

Considerable

experience in criminal court proceedings and working with felony offenders;

Ability to follow program procedures. Make appropriate and timely decisions;

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Valid TN driver license.
