Employees will operate all kinds of farm equipment to assist with all aspect of planting, raising, harvesting, and hauling of crops. Job duties include but are not limited to operating equipment to plant corn, soybeans, wheat, milo and cotton, spray crops/fields (Insecticides, Herbicides, Fungicides), and operate equipment to harvest crops (combines, grain carts, farm semi-trucks, cotton strippers). Employees will need to assist with pivot irrigation systems including installing, repairing and maintenance. Employees will be required to do routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Operate mowers to mow around pivots, ditches and fields where needed. May be required to assist with swathing, mowing, raking and baling hay when applicable. No commercial truck driving is required. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Family housing not available. Housing will be clean & meet applicable Fed, State and local housing standards. Workers must maintain neat & clean housing. Repair cost of damage, other than normal wear & tear will be deducted from the earnings after gaining the employee\'s written authorization. Housing/utilities provided at no cost to workers unable to return to place of residence the same day. Employer is not a H-2ALC. Employees will be provided with an employer owned vehicle to drive to and from work and to town for errands at least once per week. Daily transportation schedule will coincide with the work schedule outlined on this application, or as agreed upon between employer and employee based on seasonal demands and/or workload.
