Join a cutting-edge team that is installing a solar-powered infrastructure site supporting containerized computing and industrial equipment. Work includes mechanical assembly, material handling, and site operations in a renewable energy environment, within the heart of the Chihuahuan Desert.

Location:

Pecos, Texas

Responsibilities:

Support panel installation and site prep for electricians to manage final electrical connections

Assist with PV solar racking assembly and PV panel mounting (mechanical only)

Material handling: PV panels, rails, hardware, conduit, containers

Use basic hand and power tools safely

Assist with container placement and PV module anchoring

Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization

Follow site safety plans, PPE requirements, and supervisor direction

Work outdoors in extreme cold, heat, wind, dust, and sun

Physical and environmental requirements:

Lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs.

Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for 8-10+ hours

Work in remote desert conditions with uneven terrain

Other Requirements:

Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite

Basic hand tools, although company-owned tools and equipment may be provided

Basic PPE (masks, gloves)

Be legally authorized to work in Texas

Must pass a drug test and felony background check

Preferred experience (not required):

Construction, farm, oilfield, or industrial labor

Familiarity with hand/power tools

Prior outdoor or physically demanding work

Safety and compliance:

Must comply with OSHA standards and site safety rules, including attending company OSHA training for Substation Entry.

OSHA-10 preferred

Pay Rate:

$18-$23 per hour

, based on experience. Overtime per Texas law.

This is a

temporary/seasonal W-2 employee position . Employees will be paid hourly and are subject to standard payroll withholding. Overtime will be paid in accordance with applicable Texas and federal labor laws.

Employment is

project-based , with work duration dependent on construction schedules and operational needs. Continued employment may be available based on performance and future projects.

Schedule:

Typically

full-time , with a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Start times may be as early as 6 AM.

Additional hours are potentially available during peak installation phases or critical milestones.

This is a

project-based role . Project duration may vary from weeks to months depending on site conditions, permitting, weather, and construction progress.

Per Diem and Housing:

No housing.

Employer-provided housing is not available for this position.

A per diem may be provided for workers commuting long distances or required to stay overnight near the job site. Per diem eligibility is determined based on distance traveled and job requirements and is paid
