Our client, a trusted leader in oil and gas production equipment fabrication and refurbishing, is seeking a Shop Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who want to launch a long-term career in the energy industry.

Location: Darlington, PA Pay: $18-$25/hr + benefits Schedule: M-Th: 7am-4pm, Fridays: 7am-1:30pm (Potential for Friday's to be full days)

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you'll work alongside experienced technicians to clean, prepare, and recondition oilfield production equipment. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of mechanical processes, tools, and safety procedures in a supportive, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical tasks and use hand/power tools safely

Pressure wash and flush production equipment

Break down, re-plumb, and rebuild inlet, outlet, and drain lines

Sandblast, prep, and paint equipment as needed

Operate forklifts and assist with material handling

Support senior technicians with equipment tear-downs and rebuilds

Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical issues

Follow all company safety standards and operating procedures

Contribute to field support operations as needed

Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn

Ability to follow directions and work safely

Forklift experience preferred (training provided if needed)

Oil & gas equipment familiarity a plus but not required

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
