Position Overview

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing and monitoring the companys incoming payments and collections processes. Your primary responsibility will be supporting the Collections Manager in ensuring timely and accurate receipt of payments, maintaining organized financial records, and fostering positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Collections Manager in overseeing accounts receivable processes, including tracking and collecting outstanding payments.

Prepare, post, verify, and reconcile customer invoices and payments.

Maintain detailed records of accounts receivable transactions and ensure data accuracy.

Communicate with clients regarding payment statuses and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner.

Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end closing processes and reporting.

Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts while maintaining a strong customer service approach.

Provide administrative support to the Collections Manager, including generating reports and handling correspondence.

Qualifications and Requirements

A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, but not necessary.

Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or administrative finance roles is an asset.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
