Position: 10-month Administrative Assistant Level I

Locations: East Ward Elementary

Pay Rate: $20.62 per hour

Schedule: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, 210 days per year (10-months)

Job Summary: To assist in ensuring that all students attend school on a regular basis and to provide timely and accurate student attendance reports to the faculty.

Qualifications: To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

High school diploma plus one year experience in similar position.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good administrative support, clerical, and computer skills.

Ability to work independently and have good organizational skills.

Ability to operate standard office machines.

Proficiency in the use of technology for individual and system management, communication, and research.

Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements.

Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment.
