What you'll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the range extender EV pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Be responsible for the design of all EDS components including shields, troughs, grommets, connectors & terminals, and power distribution components. You will cover from clean sheet of paper through virtual development, testing/sign-off and manufacturing launch for all electric pick-up and rugged SUVs. :::

Work with Purchasing and Finance counterparts to develop technical specifications in support of the quoting and sourcing process for components under your control. :::

Develop and maintain a standard library of core EDS components aligned with global VW group owners that can be used in the design of EDS wiring and power distribution systems. :::

Work with key VW Group module owners, and suppliers to define and release all EDS and power distribution components. :::

Perform virtual and physical verification testing, including field testing. :::

Ensure designs conform to safety standards and U.S. government regulations. :::

Proactively stay attuned to consumer experience and propose system improvements accordingly. :::

Contribute to the design of production facilities for trucks & SUVs. :::

Manage supplier resources efficiently to deliver component designs that meet cost, timing, and quality targets. :::
