Agricultural Equipment Operator

Requirements:

Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 60lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer. Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash. 3 months of experienced required.

Job description:

Duties may include: Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment to perform tillage, strip till, plant, bail, harvest and rake crops. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive trucks and semis to haul crops, supplies, or tools. Irrigate soil, using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintain irrigation motors, water lines, and sprinklers. Maintain agricultural equipment such as tractors, trucks, and grain bins & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).

Anticipated hours of work per week: 48 hours per week

Schedule:

8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Mon to Sat

Anticipated period of employment:

Mar 01, 2026 to Dec 15, 2026

** Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.
