Role and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Assist Accounting Manager with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance department.

Prepare and post monthly Journal Entries to the GL.

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements

Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid expenses.

Assist with Budgets and Actual vs Budget analysis.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields, required

Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting.

Attention to detail, accuracy and organization.

Proven track record of good communication skills.

Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) and Word.

Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks; work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Experience in healthcare industry preferred but not required.

Great Plains accounting system experience preferred but not required.
