STAFF ATTORNEY

Full-Time and Exempt Employee

Disability Rights Washington's (DRW) Long-Term Care Resident Rights Program seeks a staff attorney with a demonstrated interest in conducting advocacy to enforce the legal rights of individuals with disabilities who are at risk of transfer or discharge from community-based long term care facilities: Adult Family Homes (AFH), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), and Enhanced Services Facilities (ESF). This attorney will be responsible for working independently and with a team of attorneys and/or advocates to engage in outreach, intake, individual case representation, and to advance Disability Rights Washington's mission and advocacy priorities.

While full time remote work is typical for much of the work week, all DRW attorneys must live in Washington and be able to conduct regular statewide travel by car to do outreach or meet in person.?There is strong consideration for attorneys located outside the Puget Sound region for this position.
