We are seeking a safety-oriented and dependable individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Equipment Operator. This role involves safely and efficiently operating a variety of equipment while also performing general labor tasks. Equipment operation will be part of the role, but not the primary focus at the entry level.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety procedures

Support daily operations through hands-on labor, including:

Using hand tools to assist with trench digging and site leveling

Loading and unloading trucks manually

Train on a variety of equipment to build skills and experience

Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety

Operate heavy equipment in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines

Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure proper functionality

Maintain accurate records of equipment checks and performance

Conduct preventative maintenance to keep equipment in safe working condition

Clean equipment regularly to preserve performance and longevity

Perform minor repairs and report major issues as needed

Qualifications

Strong work ethic and reliability

Commitment to safety and teamwork

Willingness to perform physical labor

Ability to learn and operate heavy equipment (training provided)

Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

1-2+ years of experience working with heavy equipment.

Possession of commercial driver's license A.

Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.

Ability to maintain, inspect, clean, and occasionally repair pieces of heavy equipment.

Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment.

Strong work ethic.

Preferred Requirements:

Demolition experience

Excavating experience

Doubles and Triples endorsements

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
