About Dexter Edward, LLC:

Dexter Edward, LLC is seeking a highly motivatedMID LEVELIT Leadwith4 yearsexperience to lead and support the companys IT operations.

This role is responsible for maintaining the availability, security, and performance of corporate IT systems across multiple platforms, including Ubuntu, Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software quality assurance.

Thisonsiteposition requires work to be conducted at ourHerndon, VAlocation.Hybrid/remote work is not available.Candidates must pass an extensive criminal background check.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Leadership and Strategy:

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team.

Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Identify and implement IT best practices to support company growth and security.

IT Infrastructure and Operations:

Plan, direct, and evaluate IT operations, system architecture, and security.

Manage IT assets, including procurement, maintenance, and vendor relationships.

Ensure the availability and performance of VPNs and cloud-hosted virtual machines.

Monitor and optimize internal system performance, including running daily maintenance procedures.

Product and Customer Support:

Conduct QA/QC testing and release validation of proprietary software.

Provide technical and product support to customers and assigned administrators.

Lead internal product training sessions.

Update technical documentation and procedures.

Support technical product demonstrations both onsite and at trade shows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience managing IT operations across Ubuntu, Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS platforms.

Expertise in installing, configuring, monitoring, and upgrading software and internal applications.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage and secure VPNs, cloud-hosted environments, and IT infrastructure.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Ability to attend and support company trade shows and demonstrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

4 years experience, Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (Work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Team leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring IT professionals.

Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Linux+, or similar.

Salary$100-110k Based on Experience
