Seeking a full time, Monday- Friday, Clerical Assistant. Applicants need to have; excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, strong people skills, critical thinking skills and excellent computer skills. They should be detail oriented, and able to travel to various satellites offices.

Responsibilities

Interacting with patients during check-in and check-out including verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing third-party claims

Explaining intake forms to new patients,

Scheduling patient appointments

Answering or properly referring questions and issues

Optimizing patient satisfaction and provider schedules with efficient scheduling

Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED, required

Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred

Experience: One-year customer service, preferred

Experience in a medical office, preferred

Computer experience, preferred

Additional Skills (required):

Skill in establishing and maintaining an effective relationship with patients, staff and the public

Ability to communicate and react calmly and effectively in any situation

Ability to learn or have knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and protocols

Requires a clear, pleasant, understandable telephone voice

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
