POSITION: Administrative Assistant - Records Specialist

DUTIES:

Receive and review all district-wide IEPs and accompanying documentation.

Ensure all IEP packets are complete and meet state and federal compliance

requirements.

Communicate with special education providers regarding missing or incorrect

documentation; track and follow up until resolved.

Work closely with Special Education providers to ensure all IEPs are

state-compliant.

Distribute finalized IEPs to parents via their preferred delivery method

(email or mail).

Maintain accurate, organized files for all active and inactive IEP students.

Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Director

of Special Services.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum one year of clerical or secretarial experience

Must be willing to take the Work Keys test or have 48 hours of College

credits

Must pass and pay for a Fingerprint/Background Clearance

WAGE: $19.64/hour + Depending on Experience
