Overview - General Laborer

Delfasco is actively hiring dedicated and hardworking general laborers for our manufacturing team. At Delfasco, a general laborer will work in a variety of positions throughout the plant. These positions include, but are not limited to machining, CNC, welding, painting and assembly, with opportunities to train for more advanced positions such as magnetic particle and maintenance technicians, as well as a future plating crew.

Ideal candidates will be reliable and physically capable team players who are able to work well with others and adhere to quality, safety and security protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Duties

General laborers will rotate positions frequently, moving between departments and performing varying tasks. Tasks may involve repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds, stretching, bending, stacking, packing, using hand tools, machine operation, welding and cleaning. All employees are required to attend company training workshops and meetings as needed. Hours are 7am-4pm M-F.

Skills

General laborers will have the physical strength and stamina required to perform manual labor for extended periods. They will be required to follow instructions and to work as part of a team. They will need a basic understanding of safety procedures relevant to industrial environments. Prior manufacturing or machine operation is a plus but is not required. Possessing a reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work conditions.
