Site Janitor needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Richmond, KY.Contract Length: 12 monthsSubject to Army Regulations (AR50-6 Chemical Surety Program and AR190-59 Unescorted Access Program) which govern persons performing work under the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP) and Unescorted Access Program (UAP). Eligibility to be placed in a CPRP or UAP position requires US citizenship. Employees must favorably complete a series of screenings to include but not limited to: a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) security investigation, drug/alcohol testing and medical examination.Operates on a 24/7 schedule. All employees are subject to and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of continued employment for the duration of their assignment. Respiratory screening and the ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required for this position. The ability to obtain/maintain access to the Blue Grass Army Depot is required.ROLE OVERVIEWOur client is looking for a Janitor at the Madison County, KY location. This position will report to the Office Services Manager.JOB DIMENSIONS Supervision Receivedo Reports to and receives operational and functional direction from responsible supervisor or manager. Supervision Exercisedo n/a Contactso Managers, supervisors, staff within immediate organization, external counterparts and other personnel.Principle job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performs the daily janitorial duties in occupied buildings across the site under minimal supervision. Adheres to company and department policies and objectives. Exercise individual initiative, discretion, diplomacy, accuracy and judgment. Interface with supervisor in the resolution of questions or problems that arise. May assist in the development of processes and procedures to improve or maintain the quality and safety ofthese services. Ability to operate cleaning equipment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Services Manager /or O&AS Manager, as requested by otherteam members.Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma and 1 year of relevant experience Must have a valid driver's license.Minimum Qualifications: Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Must be proactive, have good organizational skills, use individual initiative, follow assignment through to completion, and be attentive to detail. Ability to work overtime on short notice. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Proven record as a team player required. Ability to lift and walk with 50+ lbs. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Excellent communication skills. Effective problem-solving skills. Good safety consciousness and awareness of safety policies and procedures. Basic computer knowledge.Preferred Qualifications: Prior janitorial experience in an operations environment.
