DescriptionDawson Independent School District is seeking a highly organized and friendly Campus Secretary to support daily campus operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced school environment while maintaining a positive and welcoming front office presence.

Responsibilities: -Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. -Manage incoming calls, emails, and front desk activity with professionalism and courtesy. -Maintain student attendance records and prepare reports as needed. -Support campus administrators with scheduling, communications, and correspondence. -Assist with student registration, withdrawals, and maintenance of student records. -Coordinate campus events, meetings, and mail distribution. -Process purchase orders, staff time sheets, and other required documentation. -Monitor office supplies and ensure timely ordering and organization. -Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with district policies and procedures. -Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the campus.

Benefits-Hourly wage based on experience -Health insurance provided by the district -$10,000 life insurance policy -Christmas bonus -Reimbursement for up to 5 unused local vacation days per year

Requirements-High school diploma or GED (required) -Previous secretarial or administrative experience (preferred, school office experience a plus) -Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace -Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills -Ability to multitask and handle frequent interruptions -Knowledge of basic office equipment and clerical procedures -Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
