Fiscal Specialist

Full Time Employment (a job working 40 hours per week or more)

JOB SUMMARY

Monitors a variety of fiscal management and control activities including balancing accounts, performing payroll activities, monitoring contracts and agreements and implementing accounting or auditing procedures. Prepares and maintains various financial/fiscal records, reports and maintains records. Assists in financial planning, policy development and performs various fiscal or non-fiscal related tasks as assigned by the Director.

CAREER LEVEL Mid-Level EDUCATION LEVEL High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

?High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of undergraduate major core coursework in accounting or finance or similar field of study preferred. Experience with multiple funded budgets and contract negotiations a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products required. Valid Driver's License required. Must successfully pass background check?

SALARY/BENEFITS

$21.11 per hour. Benefits include group health insurance, prescription plan, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, wellness program, paid vacation (after 120 days), paid sick leave, paid holidays, hybrid remote work option after one year of employment, deferred compensation plans available, and Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
