Responsibilities

Works closely with the Production Team to meet customer requirements while maintaining the production equipment. Responds promptly to equipment concerns for production, notify appropriate personnel of downtime concerns, and follows all safety protocol in repair procedures. Conducts maintenance of robotic electrical systems, updates programming logic as needed, and provides shift updates to other maintenance personnel.

Performs preventive maintenance of electrical and hydraulic equipment such as pumps, motors, and bearings. Monitors required components in stock. Inspects and reviews mold changes for accuracy and safety of equipment. Assists with new equipment set up, cycle time analysis, installation of presses, robotic water jets, heat treat equipment, and small mechanical components. Routinely conducts parameter changes, trouble shoots systems, and oversees the repairs of all mechanical failures during the shift.

Qualifications

Minimum five years' experience in Maintenance position with manufacturing or equivalent 2 year certification of Multi-Craft or Industrial Tech Certificate. Proficient understanding of electrical, hydraulic, PLC's and other systems to conduct overhauls, motor changes, electrical tests, and component replacements. Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician with a strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. Ability to work as needed to complete maintenance assignments during the required shift including overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

Programmable logic controllers: 2 years (Preferred)

Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
