Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:**

Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy equipment such.

Perform preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.

Disassemble and reassemble engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, and other major components.

Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and labor time.

Communicate with operators and supervisors to understand equipment issues and coordinate repairs.

Keep shop and work area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; technical school certification or relevant training preferred.

Experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or similar role.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, braking systems, electrical systems, and heavy equipment operations.

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding tools.

Valid driver's license

Mobile mechanic or field service experience
