A locally owned, growing restaurant in downtown Grand Junction is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

We're a casual, high-energy restaurant built around good food, good drinks, music, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for someone who knows their way around a professional kitchen, takes pride in what they put on the plate, and can keep their cool when the tickets start rolling.

Position: Line Cook

Employment: Full-time or Part-time

Pay: $18--$20/hour starting, commensurate with experience

Location: Downtown Grand Junction, Colorado

Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

What You'll Do

Prepare and cook menu items consistently according to recipes and standards.

Set up and maintain your station with proper mise en place throughout service.

Work efficiently during busy dinner services while maintaining quality and presentation.

Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation.

Follow all Colorado food safety and sanitation requirements.

Properly handle, store, label, and rotate food to maintain quality and minimize waste.

Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.

Help with prep, catering, specials, and menu changes as needed.

Work as part of a team to create a great experience for our guests.

Be willing to jump in and help wherever management and the team need you.

What We're Looking For

Previous professional line-cook or restaurant kitchen experience.

Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable, punctual, and accountable.

Attention to detail and pride in your work.

Ability to maintain a clean and organized station.

Food safety knowledge and certification preferred.

Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Positive attitude and willingness to take direction.

A team-first mindset and willingness to do whatever is needed to help the operation succeed.
