Job summary:

Our Hotel Valet Attendants communicatewith guests in a friendly and welcoming manner with a smile, handling guest arrivals, assisting with luggage, deliveries, parking and retrieving vehicles, load luggage, inquiries, problem solving, guest requests and questions, billing, cash handling, and day to day tasks and reporting. Valencia Hotel Group is a growing hotel company and currently has 7 hotels across Texas and California.

Shift requirements:

Currently searching for day and evening shifts ranging from 7 am - 3 pm, 3 pm - 11pm, and mid-shifts starting at as needed times. Employees will work holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

Contribute positively to the team within the department

Prepare for any and all guest requests

Participate in on-going training

Welcome guests to the hotel and expedite the handling of luggage and securing guest vehicles

Become proficient in Hotel Operating System, Key system, and phone system

Complete knowledge of front desk procedures, hotel services, outlets, area information, directions, recommendations, PMS system and procedures, hotel procedures and rules

Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times

Provide friendly assistance in answering questions and offering information to guests

Regularly tracks vehicles for posting charges and cash handling for day usage

Maintains good customer relations by keeping aware of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephone

Maintains front drive and all equipment

Has knowledge of surrounding areas to offer recommendations and directions

Deliver items to rooms as necessary

Assist in luggage and delivery of luggage

Driving guest vehicles safely and obeying all traffic laws

Adhering to Hotel standards of operations for driving a vehicle and securing it

Assure the guest vehicles are locked and windows rolled up after parking them

Report any accidents or damages immediately

Will be responsible for any tickets received if not following traffic and speed laws

When turning over the guest vehicle match up the ticket numbers

If the guest does not have a ticket get a last name and make sure it matches the one on the ticket

Update information in the computer system as needed

Follow checklist for required duties and timeliness. Complete all opening and closing duties.

Communicate with all other departments to fulfill guests' needs
