Instrumentation & Electrical Technician- Cooperative Energy, Batesville, MS

The I&E Technician II, under guidance, provides support in the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic and pneumatic instrument and controls. This position is the skilled-level classification in the job series. Incumbents perform the full range of skilled duties. Assignments may encompass a variety of tasks, and may seldom require detailed instructions.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

Associate's Degree in the Instrumentation and Electrical Field of Study Or

High School Diploma/GED

Experience Requirements:

2 years Industrial Electrical Experience PLUS Associate's Degree Or

6 years Industrial Electrical Experience PLUS High School Diploma/GED

Certification and Licensures:

Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening - Required

Valid Driver's License - Required

Successfully qualified on entry level technician exam- Required

Journey Level Electrician- City/State Approved Certification- Preferred
