Execute and interpret multiomic analyses including16S rRNA, Shotgun metagenomic, metatranscriptomic, RNA-seq, and whole genome sequencing (10%); lead strategic planning and implementation of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to streamline data management and ensure compliance with industry standards in both a cloud and on-premises computing environment (15%); Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) platform (including L7|ESP) and containerized code in a docker environment (5%); oversee development and optimization of data analysis pipelines, driving innovation in microbial genomics research through integration of cutting-edge technologies (20%); manage bioinformatics projects and personnel (10%); troubleshoot and maintain high-performance computing servers and hardware (5%); apply GitHub project and code-based management (5%); collaborate with cross-functional teams, playing a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, data accuracy, and overall success of genomics projects (20%); perform coding and bioinformatics software development using Python, R, JavaScript (Groovy), Pandas, and Nextflow (5%); working in a cloud and on-premises computing environment (5%).

Requirements: Master's degree in Biology, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Statistics, or related field and 3 years of experience as a bioinformatician, computational scientist, or any occupation in biostatistics or bioinformatics, OR a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Statistics, or related field and 5 years of experience as a bioinformatician, computational scientist, or any occupation in biostatistics or bioinformatics

Must possess 5 years with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years with a Master's degree in the following:

Working in a cloud and on-premises computing environment;

Maintaining and troubleshooting high-performance computing servers and hardware;

Deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) platform (including L7|ESP) and containerized code in a docker environment;
