Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

Prepare and send customer invoices using Excel and Oracle.

Create and manage billing events in Oracle.

Communicate with customers regarding purchase orders and invoice discrepancies.

Generate reports from the Repair Billing Database.

Record receivables and subcontractor invoices in Oracle.

Accounts Payable

Ensure accurate G/L account coding.

Prepare and enter monthly overhead accruals.

Assist with invoice processing and credit memo verification.

Track credit card usage and project material adjustments.

Project Accounting

Open and manage projects in Oracle, including budgets and metrics.

Maintain project files and task lists.

Update project milestones and change orders.

Support project managers with financial data and EAC entries.

Inventory Management

Oversee and review daily inventory transactions in Oracle.

Provide current inventory reports to management.

Fixed Assets

Maintain and update fixed asset listings, including disposals and retirements.

Approve monthly additions and report updates to management.

General Ledger

Prepare monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations.

Review transactions for accuracy and provide necessary accruals and adjustments.

Payroll

Review and verify daily labor hours.

Provide labor data for monthly forecasts and W/C reporting.

Approve and adjust payroll entries as needed.

Contract Administration

Maintain project contract files and update billing milestones.

Provide monthly contract values and assist with invoice documentation.

Ensure compliance with government contract requirements (e.g., SAM registration).

Miscellaneous Duties

Assist with monthly forecasts and contract value updates.

Maintain property tax records and business licenses.

File and pay sales/use tax reports.

Prepare Builders Risk reports and related journal entries.

Support title transfers and provide financial data to management.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

5-10 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles.

Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

CPA certification is a plus but not required.

Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
