Production Helper Job Description:

Job Duties:

Start up and stop equipment for each run

Assist with designated production line in warehouse

Clean production area

Sweep and remove debris from working area

Load and unload master rolls of material onto lines using an overhead crane

Feed material through each line to continue production processes

Make bales of plastic scrap material as needed

Ensure that the material is up to quality standards set up by Concord Supply

Use color coded flags to flag bad quality material as it goes through the line which lets all other processes know that there is bad quality product in that area.

Pull out and discard of any bad quality product to ensure that no customer will receive bad quality material

Make splices of the material to attach one roll of material to another to ensure that the production process does not stop and has a smooth, continuous operation

Record numbers of material produced to ensure correct tracing and recording procedures

Read and interpret graphs for coating that is applied to material

Take instructions from line operators who serve as shift supervisors

Able to work well in a team setting as this is important for the safety of everyone in the plant

Safety is your #1 responsibility

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Forklift certification is a plus but forklift experience is a MUST

Entry-level position so no previous experience necessary

Ability to work shift work (1^st^, 2^nd^, and 3^rd^ 8-hour shifts)

Weekend availability
