Community First Solutions, Colonial Schools is looking for a Preschool Support Staff member to join our Westover Colonial School team!

The Preschool Support Staff position is a versatile role that combines classroom responsibilities with administrative support duties. This position provides essential coverage for classroom teachers when there are vacancies or call offs, while maintaining smooth operations through various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, nurturing, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic early childhood education environment.

Salary:

Starting at $14 and goes up to $17 depending on experience.

Shifts Available: Monday through Friday 11:30am to 3:00pm

Classroom Support:

[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Serve as a float teacher for preschool classrooms (ages 3-5) when regular teachers are absent or there is a vacancy.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and rest periods

[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Assist with student transitions between activities and areas

[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Support children's social, emotional, and academic development

[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Ensure classroom safety and implement emergency procedures as needed

Administrative Duties:

[ ]{times="" new="" roman";="" display:="" inline-block"=""}Assist with student enrollment processes and maintain student records
