Position Details

Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour, plus benefits

Schedule: 30 hours per week

Hours: Monday -- Friday, 9:00 a.m. -- 3:00 p.m.

Status: Union Position

General Responsibilities

The Deputy Clerk performs a variety of clerical, administrative, and public-facing duties in support of the Township Clerk's Office, including but not limited to:

Processing and assisting with payroll functions

Supporting election-related activities, including preparation, recordkeeping, and voter assistance

Providing public service, answering inquiries in person, by phone, and via email

Performing administrative support duties such as filing, data entry, record maintenance, and document preparation

Assisting with compliance with state and local regulations and policies

Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Office or municipal experience preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Proficiency with standard office equipment and software

Ability to work effectively with the public and Township staff
