SUMMARY Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties. Salary & Hours: \$30.1573 (min) to \$ 35.7174 (max) per hour; 35 hour work week ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in entering weekly payroll and prepares payroll reports when

needed.

Prepares purchase orders and invoices to be paid.

Maintains spreadsheets and/or reports for contracts and purchase

order balances.

Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to

accounts.

Establishes, modifies documents and coordinates implementation of

accounting and accounting control procedures.

Devises and implements system for general accounting.

Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESClerks as assigned EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Applicants must have at least two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time professional experience in accounting, or any equivalent combination of such experience and the substitutions below:

Successfully completed education is a program of college level studies in accounting, business administration, management, or finance in a professionally recognized business school or school of accounting may be substituted for a maximum or one year of the required experience on the basis of one year of such education for six months of experience Successfully completed education toward an undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration, management or finance at a recognized college or university may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of one year of such education for six months of experience. A graduate degree in accounting, business administration, management or finance from a recognized degree-granting school may be substituted for the required

Note:Successfully completed education of less than one year will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.

Knowledge of treasury functions within a municipality preferred;

Supervisory experience preferred;

ability to work with minimal supervision;

ability to communicate with Administrative personnel, as well as

bank executive.
