City of Bradford is seeking candidates for a full-time Administrative Assistant. The Permit Secretary works with the

Department of Public Works director, Parks department, Electrical department, Police department, Treasurer's

office and the zoning officer. The ability to deal with the public in a professional manner and work in a team

The assistant processes permit applications, composes letters and invoices for local building, events and zoning

permits. Position utilizes computer software to maintain a variety of documents, schedules meetings and coordinates

other tasks. Administrative assistant experience is preferred. Requires excellent written and oral skills, efficient

organizational skills with the ability to multi-task on many projects. Capacity to plan work priorities, gauge workload

and amount of time needed to complete the tasks to meet project deadlines. Advanced skills in computer software

such as Microsoft Office, e-mail, the internet, with knowledge of printer and copier functions. The current wage is

$19.59/hour, work schedule is for 37.5 hours a week Monday-Friday. Health, dental, vision and life insurance is

available. This position participates in a city pension fund, wages, paid personal days off, paid holidays, paid

vacation and sick days are based on service time completed and set within the bargaining contract. Interested
