Who We Are Seeking: We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable individual to join our team! In this role, you will support key accounting functions - including travel coordination, accounts payable, and departmental support- with a shared commitment to achieving CVTCs mission of "helping our citizens and community thrive."

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience

Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and leadership skills, including the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, establish and maintain cooperative relationships, and work successfully as a member of a team.

Strong time management, problem-solving and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet sometimes competing deadlines.

Superb verbal and written communication skills. Ability to function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient typing skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn new or updated software.

Basic knowledge of office equipment such as Xerox machines, shredders, and multi-line phone systems.

Certificates and Licenses: A valid Alaska Drivers license and the ability to be insured on CVTCs vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position.

Hiring Preferences: As allowed in P.L. 93-638, preference for employment will be given to Alaska Native and American Indian peoples. CVTC also applies family and local hiring preferences.
