[POSITION PURPOSE [Truck Driver Light (F)[ ensures the safe and timely delivery of all merchandise and materials. This movement is usually between the ADCs, stores and Distribution Center, but may include other locations as needed using a truck with capacity under 26,000 GVW. Reports daily as directed to receive schedule.

[Conducts inspection of assigned vehicle before, during and after daily trips as prescribed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the organization.]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

Completes daily vehicle inspection report and submits to management team members.

Maintains accurate records and logs at all times and signs all necessary paperwork daily.

Reports any damage or potential problem noticed with vehicle on the pre and post trips inspections.

Practices safe loading and unloading to prevent movement, shifting load and allow safe transport per NHTSA requirements.

Always chock wheels properly and secure the load.

Never deviate from scheduled routes.

Never use vehicle for personal use.

Keeps the interior and exterior of vehicle clean.

Does not have, use, or consume food, drink, or tobacco products in the vehicle.

Does not operate a personal cell phone or other personal electronic devices in vehicle while driving.

Installs and removes tire chains and other equipment as needed.
