This position is fully remote. To best align with business needs and time-zone requirements, we prefer candidates residing in Arizona, Colorado, or Nevada. Applicants based in California may also be considered, though it is not the primary target location for this role.

Cerelia is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager - West to accelerate foodservice sales growth across the Western U.S. You'll hunt for new opportunities, strengthen strategic accounts, and help bring best-in-class bakery solutions to customers who value quality, consistency, and innovation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Drive new business growth within foodservice by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.

Develop and execute a regional sales strategy that meets and exceeds revenue goals.

Build and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, channel partners, and brokers.

Collaborate with distributor and broker partners to optimize sales performance.

Provide market insights and recommendations related to product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategy.

Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to support regional and national planning.

Travel Requirements

Travel 25-30% for customer visits, industry events, and sales initiatives.

Key Attributes of a Successful Candidate

Minimum 3 years of food industry sales experience, ideally foodservice (national accounts, convenience, etc.).

Strong experience managing distributor and broker relationships.

Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Analytical mindset: able to assess data, develop insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.

Excellent communicator with strong customer service skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

3-5 years of foodservice sales experience and/or private brand experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent phone, presentation, and customer relationship skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales software.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
