Job Description: General Nature of Work: Under limited supervision, the Enterprise IT Project Managermanages and coordinates all tasks associated with several, multi-agency, enterprise projectsof significant complexity and risk. Examples of Work: Define project objectives and scope by reviewing project proposals to determine time frame, available funding, procedures, and various phases of the project lifecycle for several major, multi-agency, enterprise projects. Prepare necessary documentation to support project initiatives; review and manageproposal selection and bid recommendations. Coordinate and manage projects using project management methodologies frominception through completion. Determine and evaluate risks that may affect the project and implement a riskmitigation strategy. Oversee the development and execution of communication plans, which may includecommunicating with organizational leaders, elected officials, and the public aboutthe projects impact or status. Prepare status reports and provide updates to project stakeholders, sponsors,champions, etc. Manage the procurement process required by the project and participate in contractnegotiations resulting from Request for Proposal selection. Review requests and recommend changes from original specifications with projectsponsors, project teams, or stakeholders. Review progress and status of all projects within a program and identify specificactivities to be performed to ensure project deliverables, milestones, and requiredtasks are completed according to project deadlines. Create quality management plans; develop and maintain project documentation;oversee project design to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, or agencyscriteria, codes, and regulations. Assist in the development and delivery of project management training andworkshops.

Ability to assign appropriate priorities to work activities based on organizationalgoals and situational pressures. Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completionto meet schedules and deadlines. Ability to conceptualize needed change and to initiate appropriate activities to movefrom concepts to implementation. Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations. Ability to communicate effectively.

Special Requirements:

Certified Associate in Project Management or Project ManagementProfessional (PMP).Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in communications, business administration,information technology, mathematics, statistics, management information science or arelated field and experience in telecommunications, data processing and/or informationtechnology. Experience managing large projects of moderate complexity and risk.

Preferred Qualifications: Three plus (3+) years of experience in project management with proficiency in technology.

Proficient in planning, organizing, and managing strategic and tactical assignmentsand project management activities associated with state-wide enterprise and agencylevel information technology initiatives. Expertise in managing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of numerousconcurrent projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fosteringtransformative outcomes. Experience in delivering insightful and timely project performance reporting,enabling data-driven decision-making and proactive strategy adjustments to drivesuccess. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectivelywith a wide range of constituencies. Ability to foster a cooperative workenvironment. Ability to combine deep business knowledge with management skills to inspireteams, cultivate a collaborative culture, and achieve strategic goals. Experience with financial applications, enterprise reporting, and managingtransformation projects. Experience with financial process re-design to enhance operational efficiency andeffectiveness
