As a Caregiver (PCA, HHA, CNA), you would assist with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living that include but are not limited to, personal hygiene, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, experience with assistive devices (gait belt, walkers, wheelchair). In addition, you would engage with clients in the community by attending community events, outings, and activities.

Caregiver/ Personal Care Assistant- Job Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families

Help seniors with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, transfers, light housekeeping and meal preparation

Provide occasional transportation and accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor's appointments and pharmacy visits

Observe and report any changes in the mental, physical, emotional condition of the client or a home situation to the immediate supervisor

Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home

Requirements:

Enjoy working with seniors or clients with physical disabilities

Dementia/Alzheimer's, Memory Care experience a plus

Applicants must be 18 years and older

Caring, Compassionate, Consistent

High school Diploma or GED

Driver's License and reliable transportation

Criminal History Clearance

Have a CPR Certification
