Pay Scale: $26.00 - $37.50

Job Function:

The Production Control Supervisor supports the entire production floor by completing the following tasks. Ensuring that production schedules, materials flow and operational processes are aligned with customer demand, quality and cost objectives while balancing all company resources (manpower, equipment and inventory). This position is also responsible for control compliance paperwork and troubleshooting manufacturing builds throughout the cycle. This role acts as the link between production, sales, supply chain and planning.

Primary Responsibilities:

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Maintain master schedule for all manufacturing areas and updates with any customer order changes

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Utilizes scheduling / prioritization tools in Captor Corp internal system

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Maintains accuracy of internal system data (mfg. lead times, assembly areas)

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Tracks and statuses performance to schedule and identifies schedule conflicts to management

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ability to identify inefficiencies and make recommendations to reduce waste and optimize output

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Partners with sales team on work in process and notify of all critical schedule issues.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Performs timely distribution of manufacturing drawings

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Assist manufacturing areas with schedule issues and delivery performance

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Partner with sales engineers to deliver accurate timetable to clients on all orders

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Updates shop orders for schedule change activity

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ensure proper safety standards are met at all times

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Participates in cross training of others

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Serves as secondary support with internal work authorization for customer orders in a timely manner (in conjunction with Master Scheduler)

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Participates in cross-functional improvement teams

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Collaborate with sales, procurement, inventory and maintenance to resolve any bottlenecks and ensure smooth operations

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Follows the engineering change process with shop floor reworks and re-schedule directions

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Support production management with offsetting schedules when workload requires

Qualifications:

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment with specific emphasis on multi-division support
