From aggregate for new roadbeds to spoils headed to the landfill, our projects move on wheels. Were hiring a safety-minded Dump Truck Driver who can keep materialsand schedulesrolling without a hitch.

What Youll Do

Local Hauling (90 % within Hampton Roads) - Dirt, stone, asphalt millings, and demo debris to and from our utility and site-work jobs.

Equipment Care - Perform thorough FMCSA pre-/post-trip inspections, grease gates and hinges, and flag maintenance needs early.

Load Management - Coordinate with loader operators to balance and cover loads; verify legal weights before leaving the pit or job site.

On-Site Support - Spot trucks, back into tight cut areas, and dump safely on slope or in trench per crew signal.

Paperwork and E-Logs - Maintain daily driver logs, load tickets, and fuel records; submit them electronically by shift end.

Safety First - Follow company PPE, tarp, and traffic-control rules; attend daily toolbox talks and quarterly driver training.

What You Bring

CDL-B (CDL-A preferred) with air-brake and manual endorsement :::

Experience pulling tag trailer or low-boy

2+ years dump-truck or heavy-haul experience

OSHA-10 or Flagger cert

Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 yrs)

Basic mechanical/greasing skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs and tarp loads

GPS dispatch app familiarity

Solid knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regs

Customer-facing delivery experience

What We Offer

Hourly Pay: $21 - $28 DOE + time-and-a-half after 40 hrs

Weekly Pay - Direct deposit every Friday

Schedule and Fleet

Standard shift: Mon-Fri 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (occasional Sat or night paving)

Fleet highlights: 2022-2025 Mack and Kenworth tandem dumps, single-axle service dumps, automatic and 10-speed manuals, backed by in-house mechanics.
