C & H Excavation is looking to mentor an Entry Level Welder / Shop Hand who is eager to learn and motivated to have a career in welding.

Responsibilities:

Pre-existing MIG/Stick Welding knowledge and experience with a willingness to learn;

Familiarity with Farm equipment, Heavy equipment, Light trucks, and Cars;

Cut and Grind steel for fabrication;

Conduct Oil Changes according to manufacturer specifications;

Pressure Test and Fill Tires according to manufacturer specifications;

Lubricate necessary Moving Parts such as Engine and Wheel Bearings;

Ensure engines are kept Clean throughout Servicing;

Diagnose existing Issues while Consulting with lead mechanics to address vehicle issues;

Greasing Equipment as needed;

Cleaning the Shop whenever needed;

Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;

Take all safety precautions and follow all safety guidelines;

Wear required PPE in all required locations of the facility;

Additional tasks as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 hour DOE
