As a Water/Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer PE, you'll drive sophisticated design challenges across a diverse portfolio from treatment process upgrades and facility expansions to new treatment infrastructure. You'll serve as a trusted technical resource for clients and project teams, mentor emerging engineers, and contribute to business development, positioning you for continued growth within the firm.

What You'll Do

Lead planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities including treatment processes, mechanical systems, and associated infrastructure

Evaluate existing treatment systems and develop innovative solutions that meet regulatory, environmental, and budgetary requirements

Coordinate with internal and external project teams on project delivery and permitting

Maintain quality control of plans, specifications, and deliverables

Build and maintain client relationships while participating in business development and proposal preparation

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program required

Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the state of employment or ability to be registered with reciprocity

4 -- 10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment process design and facility engineering

Familiarity with a variety of physical, biological, and chemical treatment processes for treating water and/or wastewater

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; experience with Revit or hydraulic/process modeling software a plus

Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a proactive approach to problem solving
