Position Overview

The Customer Experience Specialist, known as aDeck Ambassador, serves as the face of British Swim School poolside during lessons. This role plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional customer experience by welcoming families, supporting instructors, and ensuring the swim deck operates smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and break down the pool deck area before and after each shift

Check water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons

Welcome students and parents/guardians and assist with check-in procedures

Answer customer questions regarding accounts, student progress, and program information

Provide support to swim instructors and management during lessons as needed

Maintain a professional, organized, and family-friendly pool deck environment

Minimum Qualifications

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Evening or weekend availability (Monday-Thursday 3:00-7:00PM and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Professional, responsible, and positive attitude

Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Preferred Qualifications

1+ year of customer service experience

Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certifications are a plus

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the "Survival of the Littlest."
