Customer Service Representative

Core Responsibilities:

Answering Customer Inquiries:

Responding to customer questions about their insurance policies, coverage, billing, and claims.

Resolving Customer Issues:

Investigating and resolving customer complaints, policy discrepancies, and billing errors.

Processing Policy Changes:

Handling requests for changes to existing policies, such as adding or removing coverage, updating personal information, and changing payment methods.

Building Client Relationships:

Developing rapport with clients, understanding their needs, and providing personalized service to foster customer loyalty.

Maintaining Accurate Records:

Documenting all customer interactions, policy changes, and claims in the agency's system.

Cross-Selling and Up-selling:

Identifying opportunities to offer additional or enhanced coverage to existing clients based on their needs.

Supporting Producers and Account Managers:

Assisting with tasks such as preparing documentation, processing paperwork, and coordinating with other team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues. Must be able to speak English and Spanish.

Customer Service Experience:

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is often preferred.

Computer Proficiency:

Familiarity with computer systems.

Problem-Solving Skills:

The ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and resolve customer problems effectively.
