Elementary School Administrative Assistant

Breckenridge Elementary School is looking for a motivated individual to join our customer service team in the role ofAdministrative Assistant to the Principal.

Responsibilities:

Schedule building usage

Collectfree/reduced lunch applications and verifications

Minnesota Common Course Catalog reporting

Facilitiate Enrollment with our ED FI Coordinator

Establish and maintain a positive team atmosphere in office interactions with the students, staff, and community

Provide customer service with staff, students, parents/guardians, colleagues and community members

Serveas a central point of information through phone calls, email, and direct communication

Possess ability to work in a positive, fast-paced and multi-tasking environment

Position Requirements:

Outstanding in customer service, teamwork and communication

Must be very detailoriented

Ability to work with computer systems

-Self-motivated

Possess ability to work in a positive, fast-pacedand multi-tasking environment

Should be comfortable with technology and working with computers

Ability to schedule and multi-task

Ability to communicate effectively with others in the school district

Work as a team and be a team member in many aspects

Adaptable and flexible towards the needs of students, parents, community members and staff

Responsible for collecting and monitoring lunch and other fees and making accurate deposits

Availability: August 18, 2025through graduation. (This is a 9 1/2 to 10-month position, usually running from August 1st--June 5th with some flexibility) 7:45 am-3:30 pm (7.25 Hours per day during school year) 8:00 am - 2:30pm (6 Hours per day - Summer hours approximately 10-15 days - approximately 10-13days in August 2025and 1 to 3 days in June 2026. Additional days in the summeras needed to submit data by the deadlines set byMinnesota Department of Education

Compensation:

Per MSEA master agreement, salary schedule B23($19.24 to $19.76per hour),based on qualifications. This is located on the district website under Employment Opportunities > Master Agreements.
