About the Role

BRD Builders is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting and Operations Associate to join our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop foundational skills across finance, operations, and administrative functions. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth business operations while building expertise in core accounting practices. This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts payable processing.

Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations.

Support compliance activities and maintain accurate financial records.

Operations and Administration:

Manage business license renewals, registrations, and corporate filings.

Assist with HR administrative tasks (e.g., onboarding documentation, record maintenance).

Support cross-functional operational projects as needed.

Business Support:

Assist in managing the companys social media presence.

Contribute to process improvements and other business initiatives.

Required:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Alternatively, 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting, operations, or administration.

Essential Qualities:

Exceptional attention to detailand commitment to accuracy.

Proactive mindsetwith the ability to identify needs and take initiative.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Eagerness to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) or social media platforms is advantageous.
