Bockelman's Landscaping, Inc. is looking for 6 full-time, Landscape Technician positions at 2869 Youngstown-Kingsville Rd, Cortland, OH 44410 and multiple worksites within Trumbull County.

[JOB PURPOSE:]{.underline}

Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, sod laying, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and instillation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units, walks, or water features.

[DUTIES:]{.underline}

Duties include to gather and remove litter and use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. Workers will operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, or rototillers. Workers will follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage. Workers will shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas. The job will require the worker to be exposed to weather, outdoors/noise, hot/cold temperatures and wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and/or hearing protection. The job will require the worker to have attention to detail, thorough in completing work tasks, integrity, cooperative, dependable, and responsible.

[SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:]{.underline}

The job will require the worker to lift, balance, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull. Must be able to lift 65 pounds. Driver's license required.

[TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:]{.underline}

Entry level and requires supervision. No education or prior work experience required. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. Work on Saturdays is required when necessary. The worker may be offered more than the stated hours per day, depending on weather and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours. Workers will be paid no less than $14.00 per hour with at least 40 hours per week. Overtime hours may be available depending on need and will be paid at $21.00 per hour. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on Friday, bi-weekly, by check/direct deposit.
