Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our dynamic team at our Dealership. The Title Clerk will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles and registration paperwork for all sales transactions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of title work processes, be proficient in office software, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Title Processing: Prepare and process all title documents for new and pre-owned powersport vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other recreational vehicles. Ensure accuracy and compliance with state and local regulations.

Registration & Licensing: Submit the necessary paperwork for vehicle registration and licensing with the appropriate state authorities, ensuring all registrations are accurate and timely.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding title, registration, and licensing information, ensuring they understand the process and any additional documentation required.

Data Entry: Accurately enter customer, vehicle, and transaction information into dealership management software and maintain digital and physical records in an organized manner.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all paperwork is completed according to federal, state, and dealership policies. Maintain and update records to ensure compliance with regulations and avoid delays.

Vehicle Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales and finance departments to ensure a smooth transition from sale to title processing. Work with lenders to finalize paperwork for financed vehicles.

Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to titles, registrations, or paperwork, and take proactive steps to address any issues before they affect customers.
