POSITION TITLE:Sr. Analytics Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. Produces datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. May perform research and assists in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies. Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested. Telecommuting: 100% Telecommuting permitted within 150 miles of worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Business Intelligence Report Developer/Analyst or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Utilizing reporting tools / languages in SQL, SAS, or Teradata; (2) Building dashboards/visualizations using BI reporting tools in Tableau Power/BI; and (3) Data analysis and information reporting relating to health insurance and health care data, including pharmaceutical data.

RATE OF PAY:

140,109.00 - $ 149,300.00

per year
