POSITION TITLE:

Developer Specialist

POSITION LOCATION: 1001 E Lookout Dr, Richardson, TX 75082

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop, integrate, test, and maintain existing and new applications; knowing one or more programming languages; knowing one or more development methodologies / delivery models. Provide subject matter expertise to AMS and other Center teams, as required. Contribute to product feature prioritization and technology roadmaps. Design, build and unit test highly scalable applications. Provide maintenance support to applications as required supporting incident escalations. Identify new technologies, trends, and opportunities. Participate in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, sprint reviews. Provide basic design documents and translates into component-level designs to accelerate development. Design, develop, and distribute reusable technical components. Assist in developing of technical documentation; participate in test-plan development, integration and deployment. Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications and detailed designs of application solutions for clients. Telecommuting: This is a Flex role (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience as an Information Technology Specialist or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Application development using Java/J2EE technologies; (2) Development using Spring Framework; (3) Front end development using ReactJS/Angular; (4) Cloud computing technologies (SaaS / IaaS / PaaS) like PCF and OpenShift; (5) Scripting languages (BASH / PERL / PYTHON / GO); (6) Web technologies (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP); (7) Leading a high performing application delivery team; and (8) SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum /Iterative Development).

RATE OF PAY:

$ 149,781.00 - $ 180,700.00 per year
